Senior Merchandiser

We are currently seeking a commercially driven Senior Merchandiser to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Faisalabad. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in textile merchandising, with a deep understanding of textile products, product costing, production management, and customer handling. This role serves as a critical liaison between customers, sales, production, and internal departments, ensuring that customer requirements are clearly understood, commercially viable, and delivered on schedule. A strong grasp of textile manufacturing processes, fabric and made-up products, costing, quality standards, and export customer expectations is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and manage order follow-ups efficiently.
- Develop accurate and competitive product costings to support pricing strategies.
- Coordinate closely with production, quality assurance, and planning teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor orders throughout the development cycle until final shipment to guarantee timely delivery.
- Manage customer communications proactively and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Develop products tailored to customer requirements, ensuring alignment with market demands.
- Follow up rigorously on production schedules and delivery deadlines to meet commitments.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with customers to secure profitable agreements.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying potential new clients.
- Identify new market opportunities and evolving customer requirements to support business growth.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in textile merchandising, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of textile products, including fabric and made-up goods.
- Expertise in product costing and commercial negotiation.
- Familiarity with production processes, quality control standards, and export customer expectations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with multiple departments to ensure order fulfillment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Commercially minded with a focus on delivering customer satisfaction and business objectives.
