Senior MERN Engineer (Backend Focused)

We are currently seeking a Lead / Senior Fullstack Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and React to join our expanding engineering team. This role is pivotal in architecting, developing, and scaling our core platform that supports global employment solutions. The position offers the chance to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and collaborate closely with product and design teams to create high-quality, user-focused experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable fullstack applications using Node.js, React, and related technologies.
- Lead the full technical development lifecycle, from architecture design through to deployment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to deliver innovative features.
- Implement best practices in coding, testing, performance optimization, and security.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the planning of the technical roadmap.
- Participate in code reviews to continuously enhance code quality and maintainability.
- Work within an agile environment, actively contributing to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
- Solid understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and contemporary DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with a product-driven mindset.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience developing SaaS or HR technology products.
- Exposure to AI-driven or automation-based systems.
- Knowledge of global workforce management and HR compliance systems is an advantage.
