Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Functional Consultant (Finance)

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Functional Consultant with a strong focus on finance to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. This full-time role requires a finance-savvy professional who can effectively bridge business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring successful implementations and optimizations of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with financial modules and a deep understanding of accounting standards and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, concentrating on financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, and Project Accounting.
- Collaborate closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze existing business processes, and translate these into effective D365 solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on financial best practices, ensuring compliance with accounting standards like IFRS and GAAP, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Conduct fit-gap analyses, develop detailed functional design documents, and support technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage and execute data migration, system testing, end-user training, and provide go-live support to ensure smooth transitions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by offering strategic insights and recommendations for continuous process and system improvements.
- Mentor junior consultants and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team to foster professional growth and expertise.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, specifically working with financial modules.
- Proven success in leading multiple end-to-end implementations of D365 F&O.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, enterprise financial reporting, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Proficiency in creating functional documentation, process flows, and training materials tailored to diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills to effectively engage with both technical teams and business users.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or an equivalent certification.
- Experience working with Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
- Familiarity with global implementations, including multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
- Industry experience in Financial Services, Retail, or Professional Services is considered an advantage.
