Senior .NET Software Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our healthcare technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions that enhance healthcare operations. Your work will support data-driven decision-making and ensure the protection of sensitive patient information, contributing directly to improved healthcare outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET Core.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for clean code, thorough code reviews, and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, stakeholders, healthcare professionals, and engineering teams to gather and define clear requirements.
- Build scalable APIs, integrate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies, and optimize application performance.
- Implement security and privacy best practices to safeguard sensitive healthcare data.
- Support analytics, reporting, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues.
- Contribute to software architecture decisions, maintain technical documentation, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 6 years of professional software engineering experience, including extensive experience (6+ years) with C# and .NET Core.
- Strong expertise in backend development, RESTful APIs, databases, and software architecture principles.
- Proficient with Git, code reviews, testing methodologies, and established software development lifecycle practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and experience managing stakeholder relationships.
- Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience in healthcare IT, financial systems, or other regulated industries is highly desirable. Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, X12, or DICOM will be considered a strong advantage.
