We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team and take ownership of designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure. This role is vital to ensuring network availability, security, and optimal performance, supporting both current business operations and future growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to network management and possess the ability to efficiently troubleshoot complex network issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure aligned with organizational requirements.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless network components.
- Continuously monitor network performance and promptly resolve connectivity problems.
- Conduct network upgrades, capacity planning, and optimization to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Implement network security best practices, including access controls and threat mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, configurations, and diagrams for operational reference and compliance.
- Collaborate with vendors for procurement of network equipment and technical support services.
- Ensure high availability and business continuity of network services through effective planning and management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise network administration and support.
- Relevant certifications including Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in LAN/WAN administration, routing, and switching technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles and firewall management.
- Proficiency with TCP/IP protocols, VPN configuration, and wireless networking standards.
- Experience using network monitoring tools and conducting performance analysis.
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and external vendors.
- Ability to work well within a team environment and manage time efficiently.
