A leading pharmaceutical company is urgently seeking a Senior Officer or Executive Officer for the Research & Development (R&D) department, specializing in formulation development. The position is based at the Sheikhupura Plant and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative pharmaceutical projects within a reputable organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in formulation development, process optimization, and scale-up activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This role demands a proactive individual capable of managing technology transfer, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and supporting regulatory documentation to maintain product quality and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and scale up pharmaceutical formulations and processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to GMP, GLP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory compliance throughout development and manufacturing stages.
- Identify and resolve issues related to commercial batch production and manufacturing deviations.
- Prepare CTD dossiers and other regulatory documentation to support product registration and approval.
- Facilitate technology transfer from R&D to commercial manufacturing units, ensuring smooth transition and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct risk assessments, process validations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to guarantee on-time completion and adherence to quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Pharm-D degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in formulation development within a reputable pharmaceutical industry.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- M.Phil. in Pharmaceutics is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 70,000 to Rs 130,000.
- Work location is on-site at the Sheikhupura Plant, providing direct engagement with manufacturing and R&D teams.
