This role is designed to support Quality Assurance (QA) operations by managing inspection data, reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), coordinating with vendors for material testing, maintaining sample records, and assisting during material inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). The aim is to ensure smooth and efficient quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Digitization: Scan and maintain hard copies of all KE-PO/Self-Finance Delivery Challans and FAT Test Reports. Monitor cloud storage and follow up with QA Engineers to ensure FAT digital records, including inspection photos, videos, and documents, are up to date.
- Calibration Management: Coordinate calibration activities for laboratory equipment and inspection tools through third-party service providers to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- External Laboratory Testing Administration: Manage laboratory charges and coordinate with lab testing engineers to obtain and share lab reports with customers for materials tested outside of KE materials in the QA Laboratory.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all inspection and routine processes adhere strictly to KE HSEQ guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Material Inspection Support: Handle data posting, extraction, analysis, and reporting within the SAP QM module for inspections and testing conducted by QA Engineers. Report KPI data regularly and coordinate with vendors for testing samples. Track and record approved samples and provide support to QA engineers during inspections and FAT activities as needed.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage third-party pay orders related to external lab testing and QA laboratory testing charges. Maintain internal records of inspection charges and ensure proper posting in the QA SAP profit center. Coordinate warranty claims for transmission and distribution materials, including lifting, repair, and replacement. Issue letters related to material rejection, acceptance, and third-party testing.
- Audit Participation: Actively participate in ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 accreditation and surveillance audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- IT Coordination: Liaise with the IT Department to resolve any department-related IT issues or queries promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or BBA.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance or related fields.
