The Senior Officer – Retail plays a vital role in driving the organization’s retail fundraising efforts and donor engagement within designated areas. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring initiatives aimed at expanding the individual donor base. The role involves building and nurturing strong relationships with retail markets, traders, and wholesalers to ensure the successful implementation of fundraising campaigns through both traditional and innovative channels. The Senior Officer will work closely with various stakeholders to maximize fundraising outcomes and support the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement retail fundraising strategies to increase donor participation and revenue generation.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with retail markets, traders, wholesalers, and individual donors to broaden the donor network.
- Plan and oversee fundraising campaigns, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor and evaluate fundraising activities to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to leverage resources and enhance fundraising initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of donor engagement and fundraising outcomes for reporting and analysis.
- Stay informed about market trends and innovative fundraising techniques to continuously improve outreach efforts.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards during all fundraising activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail fundraising, donor engagement, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to plan, execute, and monitor multiple fundraising projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data management and reporting tools related to fundraising activities.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical fundraising practices and organizational values.
