Senior Operations Specialist

The Senior Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Pakistan team by managing a broad range of operational and administrative functions. This includes procurement, vendor management, compliance coordination, logistics, and office administration. Acting as a key link between local operations and central teams, the role ensures smooth day-to-day execution while maintaining close collaboration with the global finance department. Key Responsibilities

- Manage travel and logistics by arranging bookings for travel, accommodation, and security for routine business activities.
- Oversee procurement processes including drafting and managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), negotiating vendor contracts, and ensuring value for money without compromising service quality.
- Serve as the primary local liaison with the global Finance team by reviewing operational invoices, coordinating payment documentation, and supporting accounts payable workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, maintain correspondence with regulatory bodies such as FBR, EOBI, PRA, and SECP, and act as Acasus’s main point of contact for regulatory matters.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and office assets, mentor junior staff, and optimize office logistics.
- Facilitate internal communication by acting as the primary contact for the operations team, ensuring alignment of local practices with organizational policies through coordination with global teams.
- Conduct routine quality assurance evaluations of third-party service providers to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in operations, administration, or procurement.
- Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s corporate compliance requirements, local labor laws, and provincial tax regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu, combined with high levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
- Demonstrated interest in international development, public health, or consulting operations.
- Proficiency in modern ERP and accounting systems, preferably Salesforce/Certinia, along with Tableau and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive).
- Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment with distributed, multicultural teams.
