Senior Oracle APEX Architect / Developer- immediate Join

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle APEX Architect / Developer to join our dynamic team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Oracle APEX. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to lead development efforts while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Immediate availability is preferred for this full-time, on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications leveraging Oracle APEX technology.
- Define application architecture, establish technical design guidelines, and enforce development standards.
- Develop and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and SQL queries to ensure efficient database operations.
- Create and maintain Jasper Reports and other complex reporting solutions to support business intelligence needs.
- Integrate applications with external systems through REST and SOAP APIs as well as web services.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues related to applications, databases, and overall system performance.
- Ensure that applications meet security, scalability, maintainability, and performance requirements.
- Collaborate closely with QA engineers, business analysts, project managers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, coding standards, version control protocols, and best development practices.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, troubleshoot technical challenges, and mentor junior developers to foster skill development.
- Take ownership of technical deliverables and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications

- 8 to 10 years of overall software development experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.
- Strong expertise in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and SQL programming.
- Proven track record in enterprise application architecture and development.
- Hands-on experience with Jasper Reports for designing and maintaining complex reports.
- Solid experience integrating applications with REST and SOAP APIs and web services.
- Excellent knowledge of database design principles, query optimization techniques, and performance tuning.
- Ability to analyze complex technical requirements and design effective, scalable solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
