We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle EBS Apps DBA to manage and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 database and application environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database administration, Oracle EBS R12 system management, upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. A solid understanding of IT General Controls (ITGC) and SOX compliance standards is essential to ensure security and audit requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage, administer, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 environments, ensuring system availability, security, and optimal performance. Perform Oracle Database and Oracle EBS application administration tasks, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to database and system environments. Conduct upgrades and patching activities for both Oracle Database and EBS applications to keep systems up to date. Monitor database and application performance, implementing tuning measures to enhance efficiency. Oversee backup, recovery, cloning, and disaster recovery processes to safeguard data integrity. Handle EBS environment cloning, refreshes, and migrations as needed. Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams during upgrades and deployments to ensure smooth transitions. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering database and EBS system configurations. Ensure compliance with ITGC and SOX standards by supporting audit requirements and implementing necessary security and control measures.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 Database and System Management is required. The candidate should have a strong background as an Oracle Apps DBA with practical experience in Oracle Database and Oracle EBS Applications upgrades. In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 administration and architecture is essential. Expertise in Oracle Database administration, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning, is necessary. Experience with EBS cloning, patching, and system maintenance is expected. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are critical. Familiarity with ITGC and SOX compliance standards is required, along with a solid understanding of database security and access controls. Strong documentation and communication skills are also important to effectively manage and share technical information.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Oracle Database and/or Oracle EBS certifications will be considered an advantage. Experience working in enterprise-level Oracle environments is highly valued. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs200,000. The role requires in-person attendance at the work location. Candidates will be asked about their current and expected salary during the application process.
