We are looking for a Senior Oracle Developer with strong expertise in Oracle Forms and Reports to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in computer science and at least 4 to 5 years of relevant experience. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle applications and business reports while ensuring high-quality standards. The candidate will work closely with end users throughout the project lifecycle to deliver effective solutions. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive monthly salary starting from Rs100,000.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial design reviews of Oracle applications and business reports to ensure alignment with project requirements. Delegate tasks to junior team members and monitor their progress to maintain productivity and quality. Coordinate thorough testing of all newly developed systems and reports, maintaining clear communication with end users until project completion. Follow internal standards and best practices in all development activities to uphold quality and consistency. Address and resolve end user issues related to business systems and reports promptly to minimize disruptions. Provide guidance and support to less experienced staff in development, system integration, testing, and bug fixing, ensuring adherence to programming guidelines. Perform bug fixes in applications and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence. Maintain turnaround time (TAT) for all assigned tasks within the team to ensure timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences from a recognized academic institution. A minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in Oracle development, specifically with Oracle Forms and Reports. Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, testing procedures, and bug fixing methodologies. Proven ability to manage and mentor junior staff effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
