FishAngler, an AI-powered fishing app with millions of downloads and a highly engaged community of anglers across the US, is seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to lead the next phase of growth. This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of paid acquisition budgets across Google and Meta, with an expectation of budget growth as the business scales. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and eager to challenge existing strategies to drive meaningful growth beyond the current core audience. This position is remote and offers a salary range of $30,000–$35,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize paid acquisition campaigns on Google Ads and Meta platforms, ensuring efficient budget allocation and performance improvement.
- Analyze account performance deeply to identify underlying causes of changes in key metrics such as CPA and trial-to-paid conversion rates.
- Develop hypotheses based on data insights, design tests, and implement learnings to fuel growth.
- Improve account structure, tracking, creative testing, and app store campaigns to enhance user acquisition and retention.
- Expand the app’s reach beyond the core angler audience to a broader outdoor and recreational fishing market.
- Focus on the subscription (VIP) model by optimizing new user acquisition, trial-to-paid conversion, retention, and overall quality of growth.
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team, providing strategic input and challenging assumptions to refine marketing approaches.
- Serve as a proactive partner who brings fresh ideas and a critical eye to campaign performance and strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Proven hands-on experience managing performance marketing campaigns on Google Ads and Meta platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interrogate data, form hypotheses, and test effectively.
- Experience managing budgets within mobile app, subscription, or consumer tech environments.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing strategies in a small, fast-growing company.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to challenge ideas constructively and collaborate with leadership.
