Senior PHP Developer

We emphasize collaboration and impactful technology to drive success. We are currently seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our onsite team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in PHP web application development, database management, API integration, and modern web technologies to help build scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable PHP-based web applications.
- Write clean, secure, and well-structured code following best practices.
- Utilize PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter for application development.
- Design and manage databases using MySQL.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and uphold development standards.
- Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, QA, and other teams.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Manage existing projects and implement new features based on requirements.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar.
- Experience with REST API development and third-party API integrations.
- Solid understanding of Git and version control systems.
- Strong knowledge of database design and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with web security best practices and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, or other CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
- Experience with cloud hosting environments, cPanel, or server management.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Karachi. The monthly salary range is PKR 75,000 to PKR 85,000. Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of three years of relevant PHP development experience.
