Senior PHP Laravel Developers

We are seeking an experienced PHP Laravel Developer with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing a custom-built Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. This role involves both backend and frontend development, utilizing Laravel, MySQL, jQuery, and Bootstrap to ensure system reliability, optimal performance, and continuous feature development across various healthcare modules.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve the Laravel backend, including controllers, models, middleware, and form requests.
- Develop and enhance features across multiple modules such as HR, Inventory, Finance, Medical Records, and Reporting.
- Write clean and efficient Eloquent queries while optimizing complex SQL statements for performance and reporting purposes.
- Manage database migrations, seeders, and backups, ensuring data integrity at all times.
- Work with frontend technologies including jQuery, Bootstrap, modals, DataTables, and custom JavaScript to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Implement functionalities such as PDF generation using dompdf, file uploads, and server-side DataTables with Yajra.
- Debug and resolve production issues using Laravel Debugbar and logging tools.
- Adhere to secure coding practices, including authentication, role-based access control, validation, CSRF protection, and encryption.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or developer diploma.
- At least 5 years of practical experience with Laravel (versions 9 and 10) and PHP 8.x, including MVC architecture, Service Providers, Eloquent ORM, and basic Queues/Events.
- Strong expertise in MySQL (versions 5.7 and 8.0), with skills in schema design, joins, indexing, query optimization, views, and functions.
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as jQuery, Bootstrap 4/5, DataTables, AJAX (Axios or fetch), and SweetAlert2.
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs with AJAX-driven user interfaces.
- Familiarity with version control and package management tools including Git, Composer, npm, and Vite.
- Ability to understand and extend existing codebases, including large JavaScript files.
- Strong debugging skills across PHP, JavaScript, and SQL environments.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working with Laravel 10.x and PHP 8.1 or higher.
- Knowledge of MySQL 8 and modern frontend libraries and tools such as SweetAlert2.
- Comfortable working with local development environments like XAMPP and web servers including Apache/PHP.
- The position is full-time and requires in-person attendance. Candidates should be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Karachi before starting.
- Monthly salary ranges from Rs50,000 to Rs80,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in healthcare or similar domains.
