Senior Platform & Quality Engineer

KeepCoders is seeking a Senior Platform & Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, and software quality, emphasizing automated testing and release quality rather than manual QA. The ideal candidate will take ownership of building and maintaining scalable, reliable cloud-native infrastructure and enhancing platform reliability through automation and quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Manage CI/CD and GitOps workflows with GitHub Actions and Argo CD, including deployment verification, release automation, rollback, and release gates.
- Implement Kubernetes security, secrets management, workload configuration, and security-conscious infrastructure practices.
- Develop and maintain developer self-service tooling, such as Backstage.
- Design and execute automated integration, end-to-end, API/backend, and regression testing, including Flutter/mobile test automation.
- Maintain automated testing frameworks for iOS and Android, including physical-device testing when necessary.
- Manage test environments and test data to ensure reliable, repeatable automated test execution.
- Implement logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Develop scripting and automation to improve platform reliability, testing, deployment, and engineering workflows.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot issues, improve release quality, and maintain reliable production systems.

Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Argo CD, and GitOps methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Experience with Kubernetes security, secrets management, workload configuration, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in automated integration, end-to-end, API, and regression testing.
- Experience with Flutter/mobile test automation and iOS/Android testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with physical-device testing for mobile applications is highly desirable.
- Strong scripting and automation skills to enhance platform and testing workflows.
- Experience managing test environments, test data, release automation, and deployment verification.
- Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving abilities, and a strong ownership mindset.
- This position is platform/DevOps-focused with responsibilities in quality automation, not manual QA.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Compensation
Monthly salary ranges from Rs. 250,000 to Rs. 370,000.
