Senior Project Manager - Afternoon

10Pearls, a global AI-native digital engineering partner, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex software projects from inception to delivery. This role requires a strong blend of project management expertise, technical understanding, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on leveraging AI-enabled delivery practices to drive efficiency and quality. The Senior Technical Project Manager will oversee daily delivery activities such as planning, tracking, reporting, risk management, and operational execution, collaborating closely with the Engagement Lead. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple workstreams, engaging in technical discussions, and utilizing AI tools to enhance decision-making and project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Utilize AI-native delivery practices to enhance project execution through AI-enabled planning, coordination, reporting, analysis, and workflow automation.
- Deliver comprehensive solutions spanning development, architecture, testing, business analysis, and project management disciplines.
- Take full ownership of project requirements, timelines, quality, and team coordination, maintaining proactive communication with both onshore and offshore stakeholders.
- Foster a positive and energetic work environment, leading teams with a balanced approach of firmness and politeness.
- Understand project scope, requirements, and team structure to manage projects of varying sizes, including multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Validate project deliverables, identify gaps, and collaborate with internal departments to secure necessary resources and infrastructure.
- Make informed decisions based on project needs and stay current with emerging industry practices to drive continuous process improvements.
- Coach and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, promoting an agile mindset and reinforcing company culture among junior staff.
- Collaborate across delivery teams to ensure a cohesive and unified approach to project execution.
- Contribute to organizational capability building through training, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives.
- Engage confidently in technical discussions with architects and developers to review approaches, assess feasibility, and evaluate risks.
- Employ AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to accelerate status reporting, documentation, and risk tracking.
- Apply AI-assisted planning and forecasting techniques to improve estimation accuracy and early risk identification.
- Use AI coding assistants to gain sufficient understanding of codebases for credible technical discussions and delivery decisions.
- Identify and champion automation opportunities for repetitive project management tasks, including status reporting, meeting notes, and backlog grooming.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 5 years managing software development projects.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies for coordinating software product delivery.
- Experienced in managing Azure DevOps (ADO) boards, including user stories, tasks, sprint assignments, burndown tracking, and status updates.
- Skilled in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, capacity and priority management, sprint reviews/demos, and retrospectives.
- Strong capabilities in reporting and dashboard metrics.
- Ability to enforce team compliance with task updates, status reporting, and time tracking.
- Ensure daily structured updates from team members covering completed tasks, planned work, blockers, and sprint goal confidence.
- Monitor workload distribution and team capacity to prevent overload.
- Identify, track, escalate, and resolve impediments affecting delivery timelines or sprint goals.
- Understand delivery priorities, backlog sequencing, and effort estimation to maintain achievable sprint commitments.
- Maintain alignment and communication with Delivery Leads and Product Managers regarding risks, blockers, or delivery impacts.
- Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, Agile coaching, and best practice advocacy.
