Our client, a confidential organization, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a Nutrition Program based in Peshawar. This senior role involves leading the implementation of the Benazir Nashonuma Programme (BNP) across eight districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). As the organization's highest-ranking representative in the province, the Provincial Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project delivery, coordinate with government departments, BISP, NADRA, UN agencies, and other stakeholders, and ensure compliance with organizational and donor standards. The role requires strong leadership, strategic oversight, and the ability to manage multiple teams and complex operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Provincial Leadership, Coordination & Representation
- Serve as the primary focal point and senior representative for BNP across the eight target districts, providing strategic leadership and oversight.
- Establish and maintain effective coordination with provincial and district government departments, BISP, NADRA, and UN agencies to enhance program credibility and sustainability.
- Represent the organization at provincial and district forums, advocating for BNP’s objectives and strengthening program visibility.
- Lead inclusive planning and coordination platforms with diverse stakeholders to build consensus and promote nutrition, health, and social protection goals.

Project Management
- Oversee planning, execution, and monitoring of BNP activities, ensuring alignment with program strategies, work plans, and timelines.
- Identify risks and implement timely mitigation strategies.
- Lead project teams to deliver impactful outcomes for beneficiaries and local authorities.
- Support the development and implementation of nutrition interventions, including data collection, reporting, and quality assurance.
- Promote beneficiary participation and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
- Maintain consistent quality assurance across all districts to improve program performance and impact.

Staff & Team Management
- Manage provincial Program, HR, and Logistics teams, including daily supervision, training, and performance evaluations.
- Mentor and support district teams through coaching, technical guidance, and performance management.
- Facilitate regular cross-departmental meetings to align staff on objectives and encourage feedback.
- Collaborate with the capacity-building unit to assess and address training needs.
- Maintain effective communication between field teams and provincial/regional and head offices.

Operational Support
- Provide operational guidance to district teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Oversee procurement, logistics, and administrative processes, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Coordinate with logistics and finance teams to manage resources efficiently.
- Ensure timely allocation of resources to districts.

Budget Management & Compliance
- Manage project budgets transparently, ensuring expenditures align with approved plans and financial policies.
- Monitor financial compliance and prepare variance analyses and reports for management and donors.
- Facilitate audits, spot checks, and compliance reviews, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)
- Continuously monitor project progress using quantitative and qualitative data.
- Ensure timely data collection, consolidation, and quality assurance.
- Conduct field visits and provide constructive feedback to teams.
- Document lessons learned and support knowledge sharing for future programming.

Safeguarding & Code of Conduct
- Promote and uphold the organization’s Code of Conduct, safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), and child safeguarding policies.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment, ensuring all team members understand and comply with safeguarding obligations.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in Nutrition, Public Health, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in nutrition program planning and management, preferably in maternal and child health/nutrition.
- At least 2-5 years in a senior or provincial-level project management role.
- Proven experience managing humanitarian or development projects, ideally with UN or donor-funded programs.
- Strong leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities, with familiarity in health/nutrition data tools and software.
- Expertise in training facilitation, capacity building, negotiation, conflict resolution, and strategic planning.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant data/reporting software.
- Fluency in English and Urdu; knowledge of Saraiki or KP local languages is advantageous.
- Based in Peshawar with frequent travel to target districts and occasional visits to provincial and head offices.
