Senior Project Manager, OTC & Wellness

Key Responsibilities

Lead strategic, cross-functional innovation projects including new product development, packaging changes, product claims, and process improvements to achieve business objectives. You may also lead broader organizational initiatives such as capability building, governance forums, and portfolio support with guidance.

Demonstrate proficiency in managing innovation projects of varying complexity, ensuring alignment with business goals, value creation, and launch success criteria. Drive rapid project initiation and structured execution to accelerate impact while maintaining quality and compliance standards. For select markets, coordinate market-level launch readiness and ensure successful local deployment.

Develop a deep understanding of category strategies, portfolio priorities, project interdependencies, and resource constraints to proactively support the innovation pipeline. Serve as a role model for Haleon’s culture by fostering accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Guide cross-functional teams in evaluating opportunities, risks, trade-offs, and resource implications to prioritize impactful innovation choices. Coach and develop project team members on project management best practices and contribute to capability building across the organization.

Provide data-driven recommendations and scenario analyses to support portfolio prioritization and key business decisions. Build trust and alignment across teams and geographies, enabling effective collaboration and timely decision-making. Address team dynamics proactively, resolving conflicts through negotiation and influence, escalating when necessary.

Lead project management activities as a strategic partner to the Project Accountable Lead (PAL), establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and decision rights within cross-functional teams. Ensure project scope, success criteria, business objectives, and delivery strategies are clearly defined and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop and maintain integrated project plans, track project health, milestones, risks, and opportunities through high-quality reporting. Facilitate risk and opportunity management with proactive mitigation and contingency plans. Challenge assumptions constructively and promote an enterprise mindset to maximize impact and value creation.

Support portfolio planning through probability-of-success assessments and delivery insights. Identify issues early and drive timely resolution through escalation and stakeholder engagement. Manage change control processes for significant project adjustments.

Maintain accurate project data and documentation, lead teams through governance and stage-gate processes, and ensure effective stakeholder communication across functions and geographies. Drive disciplined budget planning, forecasting, and tracking. Conduct post-launch reviews to capture lessons learned and promote best practices. Support measurement of launch readiness and project success by tracking key performance indicators.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Business/Finance, or Engineering. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, or Project Management within consumer healthcare or related sectors such as CPG or pharmaceuticals. Proven track record of delivering complex projects and holding project management or leadership roles in similarly sized organizations.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous, and uncertain environments. Understanding of key business processes within a transnational healthcare company. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels, with or without formal authority.

Demonstrated capability to engage in courageous conversations, adapt communication style to different audiences, and model accountability while holding others accountable. Proven ability to build trust with teams and stakeholders.
