We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-performance software solutions across our enterprise platforms. This role requires deep expertise in Python programming, system architecture, and integration within complex business environments. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, DevOps, product managers, and business analysts to deliver secure, maintainable applications that drive operational excellence and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Python applications focused on financial data processing, modeling, and reporting.
- Design scalable microservices and APIs for integration with trading platforms, market data providers, and internal systems.
- Collaborate with finance and risk teams to automate workflows and improve data accuracy and timeliness.
- Optimize the performance of real-time and batch data pipelines handling large datasets.
- Ensure systems comply with regulatory and compliance standards such as MiFID II, Basel III, and SOX.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in secure and maintainable coding.
- Partner with DevOps teams to deploy solutions in cloud or hybrid environments including AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Python development within enterprise or financial sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments such as equities, derivatives, and fixed income, along with market data.
- Proficiency with financial and data science libraries including NumPy, Pydantic, PyTorch, Pandas, PySpark, and QuantLib.
- Familiarity with trading systems, risk engines, or portfolio management platforms.
- Experience with cloud technologies, containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical abilities, communication skills, and experience managing stakeholder relationships.
