Senior QA Engineer

UserWise is looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic Live Operations team supporting a major international game publisher. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our games meet the highest quality standards by identifying bugs, glitches, and other issues throughout various stages of development. Your work will be critical in delivering seamless gameplay experiences and resolving problems before release.

Key Responsibilities

Game Testing:
- Play and thoroughly test games across different development phases to detect and document bugs and performance issues.
- Execute detailed test cases and analyze the outcomes to ensure functionality and stability.

Bug Reporting:
- Clearly and concisely report bugs with detailed descriptions.
- Collaborate closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

Test Planning and Design:
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and cases aligned with game requirements and specifications.
- Design and manage test environments suitable for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Collaboration:
- Work alongside developers and project managers to understand game features and mechanics.
- Provide constructive feedback and suggest improvements based on testing insights.

Documentation:
- Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, results, and encountered issues.
- Keep records of testing progress up to date.

Google Play/App Store/Discord Reviews:
- Monitor store reviews and player feedback on Discord, highlighting critical insights to management.

Analytics/Product Health:
- Test design analytics and monitor product health by reviewing crash logs and key performance indicators daily.

Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about the latest testing methodologies, tools, and industry trends.
- Actively participate in QA team meetings to enhance QA processes continuously.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance.
- Proficiency in basic English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical abilities.
- Solid understanding of game development processes and lifecycle.
