Senior QA Lead

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA Lead with a strong background in ERP systems to lead and manage quality assurance activities throughout ERP implementation, integration, testing, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ERP testing, requirement analysis, test documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, proven leadership skills are essential to effectively guide and mentor QA teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and process adherence.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and functional teams to gather, analyze, and clarify ERP requirements. Translate these business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications. Conduct gap analysis to identify discrepancies between standard ERP functionalities and specific business processes. Lead requirement walkthroughs and design reviews to proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Develop comprehensive Test Strategies, Test Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), Test Cases, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts. Manage and execute various testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, Performance Testing, and UAT. Oversee data migration testing and coordinate testing efforts for third-party ERP integrations. Handle the full defect lifecycle, including prioritization, triage, tracking, and resolution. Mentor and support QA engineers to improve team performance and knowledge sharing. Work in close coordination with project managers, developers, business users, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and quality delivery. Ensure strict adherence to QA processes, documentation standards, and industry best practices. Perform data validation and SQL-based testing as necessary.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead QA role specifically focused on ERP systems. Strong expertise in ERP testing and business process analysis is essential. Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, business process mapping, and preparing detailed functional specifications. Excellent documentation skills, including the ability to create Test Plans, Test Cases, RTMs, and UAT documentation. Proficiency in project management and testing tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar platforms. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall software development methodologies. Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SQL and data validation techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or SOAP UI will be an advantage. Background in ERP data migration and third-party system integrations is preferred. Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring QA teams to achieve high performance.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Karachi, Pakistan. The role reports to the Quality Assurance/IT department and offers an excellent opportunity to lead critical QA initiatives within ERP environments.
