Key Responsibilities
As a Senior React Native Developer at AuctionNow, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that support both buyer and seller experiences. Your role involves translating product requirements and UI/UX designs into scalable, robust features while ensuring smooth performance across Android and iOS platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless functionality. Additional responsibilities include reviewing code, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will also troubleshoot issues, optimize app performance, and participate in the full software development lifecycle—from planning and deployment to ongoing maintenance. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore.

Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and mobile application development for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, working with backend services, and managing state using tools such as Redux or Context API.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and component-based architecture.
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development workflows.
- Ability to debug complex issues, optimize application performance, and write unit and integration tests.
- Experience in leading or mentoring engineering teams, conducting code reviews, and contributing to technical design decisions.
- Knowledge of security principles, data privacy, and best practices for handling user data in mobile applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
