Senior React Native & React Engineer PK

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Engineer to take full ownership of frontend and mobile application development within an AI-first delivery environment. This role requires a proactive individual who goes beyond executing tasks to independently making architecture decisions, designing scalable systems, and translating ambiguous product requirements into production-ready solutions. You will work on a lean team where ownership and accountability are paramount, leveraging AI tools such as Cursor and Claude to accelerate development while maintaining high standards for architecture, performance, usability, and overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and own the architecture of frontend and mobile applications using React.js, React Native, and Next.js.
- Make independent architecture decisions focused on scalability, maintainability, performance, and reliability.
- Develop production-grade applications with TypeScript for both web and mobile platforms.
- Work extensively with GraphQL APIs, defining clean and scalable integration patterns across frontend, mobile, and API layers.
- Establish and enforce engineering patterns and quality standards across React.js, React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
- Maintain high application quality through rigorous attention to architecture, code structure, testing, responsiveness, and developer experience.
- Define the technical direction of projects, beyond just implementation details.
- Set and uphold quality standards for both AI-generated and manually written code.
- Utilize AI-first and agentic development workflows with tools like Cursor and Claude to speed up delivery without compromising engineering excellence.
- Translate vague product requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
- Ensure optimal performance, responsiveness, and quality of applications across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate directly with clients to foster clear communication and a strong understanding of project requirements.
- Contribute to system design, performance optimization, testing strategies, and overall engineering productivity.
- Apply foundational knowledge of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift when addressing React Native integrations, debugging, or platform-specific needs.

Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in React.js, React Native, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience working with GraphQL APIs.
- Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML or agentic development workflows using tools such as Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of native mobile development concepts in Kotlin/Java and Objective-C/Swift.
- Proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining production-quality web and mobile applications.
- Deep understanding of software performance, responsiveness, maintainability, and overall quality.
- Ability to independently make architecture decisions and lead technical direction.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clearly with clients and stakeholders.
- Availability to work full-time in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of five years of hands-on development experience.
- Exceptional English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Ability to pass a background check with positive references.
