Daraz is seeking a skilled Compensation and Rewards Specialist to design and manage comprehensive global rewards programs that align with the company’s talent strategy and business goals across multiple international markets. This role involves developing competitive base pay, bonus structures, equity plans, and benefits packages while ensuring compliance with local regulations and global standards. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams to provide data-driven insights that support compensation planning and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and oversee global rewards programs, including base salary, bonuses, equity, and benefits, tailored to diverse markets to support Daraz’s strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough market benchmarking and compensation analyses using industry surveys and internal data to maintain competitive and equitable pay practices aligned with local laws and global standards.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Finance to model compensation scenarios, forecast reward costs, and deliver recommendations for annual compensation cycles and ad-hoc adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements related to compensation and benefits across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in South Asia and East Asia.
- Maintain and improve compensation governance frameworks such as job architecture, grading systems, and pay equity protocols to promote transparency, fairness, and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in global compensation, rewards, or total rewards, preferably within multinational technology or e-commerce companies.
- Proficiency in compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, Hayes), HRIS platforms, and advanced Excel or data modeling capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of international compensation regulations, equity compensation mechanics, and multi-country payroll integration, with the ability to navigate complex cross-border reward challenges.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic insights, combined with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence senior leadership decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced certifications such as CHRP or CHRA are highly desirable.
- Graduates in Computer Science are preferred, reflecting the company’s technology-driven environment.
