Senior SEO Specialist

RixDigi, a rapidly expanding AI automation company based in Karachi, specializes in developing AI agents, intelligent workflows, and automation systems that enable businesses to operate more efficiently. As AI continues to transform search, we are seeking a Senior SEO Specialist who understands both traditional SEO and the evolving landscape of AI-driven search. If you have experience ranking on Google and securing brand citations in AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead organic growth for RixDigi and our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- AI Search Optimization (GEO / AEO): Structure content to be cited in Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, and large language model (LLM) answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. Monitor brand mentions and citations in AI-generated answers to increase share of voice.
- Keyword & Intent Research: Move beyond traditional keyword lists by mapping conversational and long-tail prompts, query fan-out, topic clusters, and zero-click intent aligned with business objectives.
- Topical Authority & Content Strategy: Develop content clusters and pillar pages applying E-E-A-T principles. Prioritize original data and expert-led content favored by AI engines. Collaborate closely with writers and designers to execute content plans.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize meta tags, headings, content structure, internal linking, and entity signals. Implement structured data using JSON-LD formats such as Organization, Service, FAQ, Article, Product, and Person.
- Technical SEO: Conduct audits and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexing, redirects, sitemaps, JavaScript rendering, log files, and Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS). Manage robots.txt and AI crawler access (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot) including llms.txt configurations.
- Off-Page SEO & Digital PR: Build high-quality backlinks and earn brand mentions on platforms frequently cited by LLMs, including industry publications, Reddit, Quora, review sites, and directories.
- SEO Automation: Partner with automation engineers to develop workflows using tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, and Python/APIs for rank tracking, content audits, programmatic SEO, and reporting.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio, and AI visibility tools (e.g., Semrush AI Toolkit, Ahrefs Brand Radar) to track rankings, traffic, AI citations, leads, and ROI.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, AI search developments, and emerging ranking and citation signals.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SEO experience covering on-page, off-page, and technical SEO with a proven track record of ranking improvements.
- Solid understanding of AI search mechanisms including Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, LLM citations, GEO/AEO, entity SEO, and E-E-A-T principles.
- Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Experience implementing schema and structured data using JSON-LD.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress, and the ability to troubleshoot JavaScript SEO issues.
- Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini for research, content briefs, and drafts while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Data-driven approach with strong skills in Google Sheets and Looker Studio.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier) or Python/APIs applied to SEO workflows.
- Familiarity with programmatic SEO techniques.
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO) fundamentals.
- Experience working with platforms such as Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, or headless/Next.js sites.
- Exposure to local SEO (Google Business Profile) or video/YouTube SEO.
- Background in marketing SaaS, B2B technology, or AI products.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role offers a competitive starting salary from Rs120,000 per month.
