National Bank of Pakistan, one of the country’s leading financial institutions, is seeking a Senior SharePoint Specialist (AVP) to join their Information Technology team in Karachi. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint-based applications, user interfaces, and modules.
- Translate user requirements into technical design specifications and workflows.
- Utilize SharePoint Designer and Power Apps to create complex forms and workflows.
- Build and manage web components, lists, libraries, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management on SharePoint (both on-premises and online).
- Integrate SharePoint workflows with other systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper installation and configuration of test environments prior to deployment.
- Conduct unit testing and user acceptance testing for developed solutions.
- Lead system support activities before, during, and after production deployment.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve production and operational issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and administer SharePoint infrastructure.
- Plan and implement SharePoint security measures, data protection, backup, and recovery processes.
- Develop automated reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Perform corrective SharePoint administration, configuration, and maintenance as needed.
- Create templates to streamline organizational information capture.
- Monitor usage and activity reports to optimize user experience.
- Manage version control, stay updated with SharePoint developments, and execute necessary updates and upgrades.
- Undertake any additional assignments as directed by supervisors.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. Candidates with a Master’s degree in IT or related fields from HEC-recognized institutions (local or international) are preferred.
- At least 6 years of experience in IT, including a minimum of 3 years in software, application, or SharePoint development.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint Development and Administration (both online and on-premises).
- Proficiency with Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server, PowerShell, and Office 365.
- Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Relevant certifications in SharePoint or related technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Employment is on a contractual basis for three years, with the possibility of renewal at management’s discretion.

- The position is based in Karachi.
