We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores to enhance user experience and boost conversions. You will work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to implement new features, integrate third-party applications, and ensure the platform runs efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize Shopify themes according to brand requirements. Optimize Shopify stores for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness. Implement custom functionalities using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps and APIs to expand store capabilities. Debug and troubleshoot issues to maintain a smooth user experience. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and high-converting storefronts. Ensure adherence to best practices for Shopify security, data protection, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of professional experience in Shopify development. Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. Experience working with Shopify APIs, Shopify Plus, and Hydrogen frameworks. Skilled in React.js, Vite, and GraphQL, especially for headless commerce implementations. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and modern development workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Shopify Oxygen, Next.js, Remix, or other React-based frameworks is advantageous. Knowledge of Shopify app development using Node.js or Ruby on Rails is a plus. Background in managing subscription-based Shopify stores and conducting A/B testing is desirable.
We offer a competitive market salary ranging from Rs120,000 to Rs150,000 per month. Additional benefits include medical insurance coverage, Provident Fund and EOBI contributions, annual paid leave, yearly salary increments, and subsidized meals.
The work schedule is from 9 AM to 6 PM, and this is an in-person position based in DHA 2, Sector H, Islamabad.
