Key Responsibilities
Write high-quality, performant, and reliable code independently, addressing assigned tasks and bugs with minimal supervision. Understand functional specifications thoroughly to deliver complete features autonomously. Contribute to both frontend and backend codebases, collaborating across layers to design and implement end-to-end features. Participate in on-call rotations, promptly resolving incidents within defined service-level agreements (SLAs). Engage actively in agile team processes and contribute to their continuous improvement. Work closely with engineering peers to build scalable and robust progressive web applications. Take part in system design discussions, API design, and data modeling to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components. Develop and maintain backend services with a focus on microservice architecture, performance, and reliability.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. A minimum of 4 years’ experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React (preferred), Angular, or Vue. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript (ES6+). Experience with (S)CSS Modules, responsive design techniques, and solid UI/UX principles. Familiarity with UI frameworks like Ant Design, Bootstrap, or Material Design. Expertise in client-side state management using Redux or React Context. Experience working with real-time technologies such as WebSockets and Socket.IO. Knowledge of testing frameworks including Jest, Enzyme, and React Testing Library. Proficiency with JavaScript ecosystem tools like webpack and ESLint. A solid understanding of modern browser behavior and limitations. Skills in client-side performance optimization and adherence to best practices. Working knowledge of backend development and RESTful API design. Familiarity with at least one backend language or framework such as Go or Java. Understanding of microservice-based architecture and distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with GraphQL or React Query is advantageous. Ability to develop UI components in isolation using Storybook. Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and service workers. Familiarity with AWS and frontend infrastructure components such as S3, CDN, and CloudFront. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Jenkins. Exposure to Node.js and frameworks like NestJS or Express is a plus. Hands-on experience with Docker. Proven ability to integrate backend services seamlessly into web applications. Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and operational best practices in distributed environments.
