This contractor position offers a flexible, remote opportunity to contribute approximately 15 hours per week, allowing you to choose your own working hours and days, including weekends if preferred. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise to help train next-generation AI systems by designing realistic and challenging coding tasks for AI to solve. These tasks will focus on feature implementation, bug fixes, and the development of deterministic verifiers that accept valid solutions while rejecting invalid ones. No prior AI experience is required; what matters most is a strong technical background and excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop coding challenges that test AI models in areas such as feature implementation and bug resolution.
- Create deterministic verifiers to accurately validate AI-generated solutions.
- Utilize backend development skills to build scalable services and APIs that support AI training workflows.
- Debug, optimize performance, and implement automated testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in comprehensive code reviews, offering constructive feedback to uphold code quality and security standards.
- Apply cybersecurity knowledge, when applicable, to promote secure coding practices and contribute to security-focused reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in backend development using languages such as Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, Typescript, Python, or C++.
- Proven ability to build scalable, high-performance services and APIs.
- Proficiency in debugging, performance tuning, and automated testing techniques.
- Keen instincts for conducting thorough and effective code reviews.
- Background in cybersecurity or SecOps is highly advantageous, including expertise in secure coding, application security, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and familiarity with OWASP/CWE standards.

The hiring process includes a screening questionnaire, a 30-minute AI-focused interview, a technical assessment, and a review by the hiring manager. Candidates are expected to complete assessments independently to demonstrate authentic problem-solving approaches. This standard continues once onboard to ensure the quality and value of your contributions.
Compensation is output-based, with payment made per task that meets project specifications. The time required to complete each task varies depending on individual expertise and workflow. Contractors must meet minimum weekly submission requirements. The pay range is approximately Rs8,311 to Rs27,705 per hour.
