Senior Software Engineer

AdalFi is a pioneering fintech company transforming digital lending in Pakistan by developing intelligent credit infrastructure for banks. Leveraging advanced data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, AdalFi enables real-time, automated lending decisions. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in the .NET framework and a solid background in building fintech products. This role involves designing scalable systems, addressing complex engineering challenges, and leading a high-performing development team. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, takes initiative, communicates effectively, and has experience working in a product-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy scalable fintech applications using the .NET technology stack.
- Manage the entire development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to implementation and delivery.
- Solve complex business problems by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and DevOps.
- Mentor junior engineers and advocate for best practices in code quality, performance, and security.
- Proactively improve systems, tools, and processes to enhance engineering excellence.
- Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to long-term technical planning.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong proficiency in .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.
- Proven experience working on or leading the development of fintech products or platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing and aligning teams effectively.
- A mindset oriented towards ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
