Senior Software Engineer - Laravel

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software and databases to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Develop and deploy new features, creating related tools and procedures as needed.
- Design applications according to detailed specifications.
- Write well-structured, testable, and efficient code following best software development practices.
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
- Maintain, expand, and scale the company’s web platforms.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve operations and development activities.

Required Qualifications

- 2 to 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably with Laravel, React or Vue, MySQL, Postgres, and AWS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development; ability to create pixel-perfect landing pages when required.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles, particularly in PHP, along with JavaScript and MVC frameworks.
- Ability to write robust tests and produce testable code.
- Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Comprehensive understanding of web application architecture, including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Experience with relational databases, version control systems, and web services development.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with Node.js, React, and Next.js frameworks.
- Familiarity with Strapi CMS.
- Experience with WordPress development.
