Senior Software QA Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer with a strong automation focus to join our agile development team. This role operates within an AI-centric software development and testing lifecycle, where quality assurance is deeply integrated into AI-driven workflows. The successful candidate will contribute to both internal products and client-facing applications, driving quality and efficiency in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Automate & Test: Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites using JavaScript or C#.
- Drive Quality: Conduct functional, exploratory, and performance testing on user interfaces, RESTful APIs, and databases.
- Bridge the Gaps: Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria, create test plans, and support robust system architecture.
- Modernize Workflows: Utilize modern testing methodologies and AI-assisted tools to enhance testing efficiency and bug detection.
- Own Releases: Manage test environments, test data, release processes, and software merges to ensure smooth deployments.
- Agile Execution: Actively participate in daily standups, retrospectives, and collaborative 3-Amigos sessions to maintain agile best practices.

Required Qualifications:
- Core QA Experience: Proven experience working in an agile software development environment, with direct involvement or proficiency in AI-centric SDLC and STLC processes.
- Test Automation: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Playwright and Selenium.
- API & Database Proficiency: Strong skills in API testing using tools like Insomnia or Postman, familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and ability to query SQL databases.
- Diagnostic Mindset: Ability to identify system weaknesses, debug using tools like DevTools, and produce clear, actionable bug reports.
- Technical Fundamentals: Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure), version control systems (Git), performance testing tools (JMeter), and operating system scripting on Windows and Unix environments.
- Rapid Delivery Oversight: Experience managing rapid iteration cycles while maintaining high standards for product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
