Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

E Technologies, a forward-thinking technology and media company, is seeking a skilled Senior QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, stability, and consistency of our web and mobile applications, delivering an exceptional user experience across all company products. This position demands a meticulous approach to testing, covering functional, regression, API, and frontend validations across multiple platforms and devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive manual testing on Web, iOS, and Android applications to identify defects and inconsistencies.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases and testing suites to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Perform a variety of testing types including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, usability, and compatibility testing.
- Test APIs and validate frontend-backend integrations to ensure seamless communication between components.
- Identify, document, reproduce, and track software defects with clear, detailed bug reports.
- Execute cross-browser, cross-device, and responsive testing across various screen sizes and operating systems.
- Review implemented interfaces against UI/UX and Figma designs to ensure design fidelity.
- Conduct detailed frontend consistency testing, focusing on small visual inconsistencies such as spacing, padding, margins, alignment, typography, colors, icons, borders, shadows, component styles, and responsive behavior.
- Detect inconsistencies between similar components, screens, pages, and application states.
- Test animations, transitions, scrolling behavior, user interactions, loading states, and error states for smooth user experience.
- Identify edge cases, unusual user scenarios, and unexpected application behaviors.
- Investigate applications beyond predefined test cases to uncover hidden or difficult-to-reproduce defects.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing prior to releases.
- Collaborate closely with developers, UI/UX designers, product teams, and stakeholders to meet quality standards.
- Support release testing and ensure applications meet quality requirements before deployment.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, testing standards, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

Required Qualifications

- Proven professional experience in software quality assurance and software testing.
- Strong background in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Solid experience with automation testing and automated test frameworks.
- Expertise in functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability testing.
- Experience testing responsive websites across multiple browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Hands-on experience with iOS and Android application testing.
- Exceptional attention to detail with an “Eagle Eye” mindset for identifying subtle frontend inconsistencies and visual defects.
- Ability to compare implemented interfaces accurately against Figma, UI/UX designs, and design specifications.
- Strong bug-hunting skills to uncover defects beyond standard test cases and expected user flows.
- Proficient in identifying small UI/UX issues such as alignment, spacing, typography, sizing, colors, visual hierarchy, and component inconsistencies.
- Experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
- Experience with mobile automation tools like Appium or equivalent.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, browser developer tools, HTTP requests, APIs, and frontend behavior.
- Ability to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports.
- Experience using issue tracking and project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or Trello.
- Knowledge of Git and development workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional proficiency in English communication.
