Senior Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with 8 to 10 years of professional experience in software engineering and solution design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications, with at least five years in an architectural leadership role. This position demands a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions while providing leadership and guidance to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and maintain scalable, secure, and maintainable software architecture across multiple products.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate business requirements and translate them into practical, effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment and quality delivery.
- Design and review system architecture, APIs, databases, and integration strategies.
- Build proof of concepts and prototypes to validate architectural decisions when necessary.
- Establish engineering standards, architectural best practices, and development guidelines.
- Review existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Support engineering teams in resolving complex technical challenges and making informed design decisions.
- Drive the adoption of modern development practices, cloud-native solutions, and automation.
- Contribute to technology selection by evaluating new tools, frameworks, and platforms.
- Ensure all solutions align with business objectives while maintaining technical excellence.
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Participate actively in architectural reviews, design discussions, and strategic technology planning.

Required Qualifications

- 8 to 10 years of professional experience in software engineering and solution design.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or in a similar architectural leadership role.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
- Advanced expertise in Python and Django framework.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience designing scalable web applications and microservices.
- Proficient in RESTful API design and backend application architecture.
- Experience working with AWS; familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch, and message queuing systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and modern software delivery workflows.
- Deep understanding of system performance, scalability, security, and monitoring.
