This position focuses on coordinating and facilitating industrial cooperation and investment projects linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The role requires close collaboration with public, private, and Chinese stakeholders to ensure that projects are aligned with long-term strategic objectives and are executed efficiently. The incumbent will be actively involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from the preparation of initial proposals and feasibility studies to securing project approvals, all while complying with bilateral agreements and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Liaise with public, private, and Chinese counterparts to promote industrial cooperation and investment in CPEC projects, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and adherence to best practices for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support line ministries at every stage of the project lifecycle, including the preparation of initial investment proposals and conducting feasibility studies.
- Coordinate the engagement of consultants or advisors for conducting project feasibility studies as needed.
- Provide expert advice on the structuring and appraisal of industrial cooperation projects to facilitate project approvals in line with bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan and the Government of Pakistan’s regulations.
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and managing risks related to industrial cooperation projects.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to keep all stakeholders informed about the status of industrial cooperation projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Director.

Required Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in managing or coordinating industrial cooperation and investment projects, preferably within the framework of international or bilateral agreements.
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, including proposal development, feasibility analysis, and risk management.
- Familiarity with government regulations and bilateral agreements governing industrial cooperation between China and Pakistan.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including public and private sector entities and international partners.
- Proven ability to prepare detailed progress reports and provide expert advice on project structuring and appraisal.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
