This role is focused on leading the development and execution of policies, strategies, and programs that build a strong national narrative around the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and its related projects. The incumbent will manage strategic communication campaigns designed to promote a positive image of CPEC activities while raising public awareness. This position also involves fostering partnerships with various stakeholders to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensuring consistent, coordinated promotion of CPEC through multiple media channels.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement policies, strategies, and programs that shape the national narrative on CPEC-related issues and projects.
- Lead strategic communication campaigns to enhance the positive image of CPEC activities.
- Design and execute programs aimed at increasing public awareness about CPEC among the general population.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base while fostering partnerships with stakeholders for continuous knowledge exchange on CPEC initiatives.
- Drive active public engagement using both traditional and social media platforms to highlight CPEC developments.
- Prepare articles, press releases, and other media content to support the promotion of CPEC.
- Ensure all promotional activities related to CPEC are conducted in a coordinated, consistent, and professional manner.
- Manage the daily flow of news regarding CPEC projects to media outlets and disseminate timely information to press and internal teams.
- Optimize communication systems to enhance the accuracy and effectiveness of press and publicity functions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with national and regional press contacts to promote CPEC progress and address any criticism proactively.
- Plan and oversee press events to maximize positive media coverage.
- Identify emerging public relations issues and address them proactively to protect the project’s reputation.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Project Director.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in strategic communication, public relations, or a related field, preferably with large-scale infrastructure or development projects.
- Strong understanding of media relations and public engagement strategies.
- Excellent writing skills for preparing articles, press releases, and other communication materials.
- Ability to manage multiple communication channels effectively, including traditional and social media platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate communication efforts and manage press events efficiently.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving public relations challenges.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
