This role focuses on coordinating with public, private, and Chinese stakeholders to support socio-economic development projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). The successful candidate will manage project implementation in line with long-term strategic objectives, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to best practices. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive support throughout the project lifecycle—from initial proposal development and feasibility studies to consultant appointments. The role also involves offering expert guidance on project approvals in accordance with bilateral agreements and government regulations, identifying and managing risks, and preparing regular progress reports. Additional duties may be assigned by the Project Director to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise effectively with public, private, and Chinese counterparts to facilitate socio-economic projects under CPEC, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and prioritizing efficient implementation.
- Provide facilitation and support to line ministries at all stages of the project lifecycle, including preparation of initial investment proposals and conducting feasibility studies.
- Assist in the appointment of consultants or advisors necessary for project preparation and feasibility assessments.
- Offer expert advice during the project approval process, ensuring compliance with bilateral understandings between China and Pakistan as well as Government of Pakistan regulations.
- Identify and manage risks associated with socio-economic projects to mitigate potential challenges.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports outlining the status and developments of ongoing projects.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Project Director to support project objectives.

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing or facilitating socio-economic development projects, preferably within the context of international or bilateral agreements.
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management, including proposal development, feasibility studies, and consultant coordination.
- Familiarity with government regulations and bilateral agreements related to China-Pakistan cooperation.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to analyze and manage project risks efficiently.
- Competence in preparing comprehensive progress reports and project documentation.
