Senior SQA Analyst

Contour Software, a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., is looking for a Senior SQA Analyst to join its Quality Assurance team. The role involves supporting testing efforts for modern web, mobile, and API-based applications, collaborating closely with the onshore R&D team from offices located in Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in UI and API test automation, preferably with familiarity in Blazor and .NET MAUI applications. This position requires the ability to independently design and maintain automated testing frameworks, perform detailed functional and data validations, and leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test generation, execution, and overall QA efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
- Conduct comprehensive functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Validate data integrity through database testing and reconciliation using SQL queries.
- Utilize AI-assisted tools and automation agents to optimize test creation, execution, and maintenance processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Analyze and troubleshoot failures in applications, APIs, databases, and automation frameworks independently.
- Maintain source control and versioning of test artifacts using Git, GitHub, Azure Repos, or equivalent tools.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software quality assurance with a strong emphasis on automation.
- Proven expertise in testing web, desktop, and mobile applications, with experience in Blazor and/or .NET MAUI preferred.
- Hands-on experience with UI automation frameworks such as Playwright or similar tools.
- Strong background in API testing and automation, particularly RESTful APIs and JSON-based services, using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or Playwright API.
- Proficiency in SQL for backend testing and data validation.
- Solid understanding of software development and testing lifecycles (SDLC, STLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, defect lifecycle, and test design techniques.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
