Senior Staff Accountant

Bernstein Advisors is seeking experienced accounting professionals to join their team as Senior Accountant and Staff Accountant. These full-time, on-site roles are ideal for candidates with a strong background in US client accounting and GAAP reporting. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, ensuring timely month-end closings, and delivering accurate financial statements in a fast-paced, high-growth BPO environment. The positions are based at the Head Office located in Federal B Area near Shahwilayat Public School, Karachi. Working hours for male employees are Monday to Friday from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am PKT, while female employees enjoy flexible working hours aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end closings
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting activities
- Process payroll for US-based clients efficiently and accurately
- Conduct financial review meetings and provide actionable insights to management
- Perform variance analysis and forecasting to support business decisions
- Mentor junior accounting staff and promote continuous process improvements

Required Qualifications:
- Professional degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting and finance functions
- Proven experience working with US clients and familiarity with GAAP reporting standards
- Hands-on experience with bank and credit card reconciliations, as well as vendor management
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar platforms
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently within the specified office hours
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information:
- MBA, ICMA, ACCA, CA, or other relevant professional certifications are highly desirable
- Experience managing multi-client portfolios is an advantage
- Candidates should be prepared to work on-site at the Karachi office
