As a Senior Staff Accountant at Creative Chaos, you will be an integral member of the finance team, responsible for managing a variety of accounting and financial functions. Your role will involve maintaining precise financial records, preparing detailed financial reports, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recording Financial Transactions: Accurately document daily banking and credit card transactions in the financial system, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all entries.
- Bank Reconciliations: Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements against company records to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the recording and timely processing of bills and invoices, while maintaining up-to-date records of outstanding customer invoices and vendor bills.
- General Journal Entries: Prepare and enter journal entries for financial transactions that fall outside standard categories.
- Vendor and Customer Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile statements from vendors and customers to ensure alignment with internal records and address any inconsistencies.
- Month-End Accruals: Accurately record accruals at month-end to reflect outstanding expenses and revenues, ensuring financial statements are current.
- Payroll Processing: Assist with the recording and processing of payroll transactions as needed.
- Prepaid Expense Schedules: Prepare and maintain schedules for prepaid expenses to accurately represent these amounts on the balance sheet.
- Fixed Assets Register: Maintain and update the fixed assets register, tracking asset values and depreciation.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory records with physical counts and adjust records to maintain accurate inventory valuations.
- 1099 Reporting: Generate 1099 data for review and compliance purposes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to US clients.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency or experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work shift hours from 6 PM to 3 AM Pakistan time.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- CPA certification or other relevant professional accounting credentials are considered a plus.
