We are seeking a Senior Visa Processing Manager to lead our Ireland student visa processing desk, ensuring high-quality case management from start to finish. This role focuses on thorough file processing and ownership rather than counselling or sales. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of Ireland visa applications, maintain compliance standards, and contribute to the development of our Australia processing desk as the company expands. Immediate joiners will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Ireland student visa cases end-to-end, including AVATS submissions, verification of proof of funds, bank statements, sponsor reviews, police clearance certificates (PCC), medical insurance, and overall file compliance.
- Conduct final quality checks on every file before submission to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Handle visa refusals, appeals, and reapplications, using each case as a learning opportunity for the team.
- Develop and maintain Ireland-specific checklists and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring alignment with the latest immigration policies.
- Supervise and review the work of junior processing staff to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate closely with counsellors and admissions teams to ensure files are visa-ready from the outset.
- Assist in establishing the Australia processing desk by creating checklists, workflows, and setting file standards for Subclass 500 visas.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in visa processing within a study-abroad or immigration consultancy environment, specifically in a file-processing role rather than sales.
- Direct experience with Ireland student visa applications is essential. Experience with Australia, New Zealand, or Canada visa processing is highly desirable. UK-only experience will not meet the requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in reviewing financial documentation, sponsor funds, and bank statements.
- Strong written English skills for preparing SOPs, cover letters, and refusal response letters.
- Proven track record with measurable results, such as approval rates, caseload management, and successful handling of refusals.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- This is a senior-level position within a consultancy that has been operating since 2015, offering stability and growth opportunities.
- You will have full ownership of the Ireland visa processing desk and play a key role in launching and shaping the Australia processing team.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Candidates with relevant experience and a strong approval record in Ireland visa processing are encouraged to apply. Immediate availability will be considered an advantage.
