Senior Study Visa Consultant

Gulf Star Services is seeking a professional and confident Senior Study Visa Consultant to join their team in Karachi on a full-time, on-site basis. The role involves providing expert guidance to students interested in studying abroad by assessing their academic and financial profiles, recommending suitable courses and institutions, and assisting throughout the admission and visa application processes. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international education destinations, admission criteria, and visa requirements, along with excellent communication and counseling skills. This position requires working six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 9:45 AM to 6:30 PM, offering a competitive salary with commission and performance incentives.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students on study abroad opportunities, including universities, colleges, programs, and destinations.
- Assess students’ academic backgrounds, financial situations, and eligibility for various study options.
- Recommend appropriate courses, institutions, and countries based on individual student profiles.
- Explain admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarship opportunities, visa regulations, and application procedures.
- Assist students in completing university or college applications and compiling necessary documentation.
- Review academic and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Guide students in preparing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), personal statements, financial documents, and other visa-related paperwork.
- Coordinate with students and internal teams to manage the admission and visa process efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of student applications, statuses, and follow-ups using CRM systems.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students to convert inquiries into confirmed applications.
- Stay updated on changes in university admission policies, study programs, and visa regulations.
- Handle inquiries from students and parents professionally, providing timely and clear updates.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student and company information.
- Meet assigned targets related to consultations, admissions, conversions, and sales.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience will also be considered.
- Prior experience in roles such as Study Visa Consultant, Education Counselor, Student Counselor, or Admission Officer is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of popular study destinations including the UK, Canada, Australia, USA, Europe, or other international education markets.
- Solid understanding of university admission processes and student visa requirements.
- Excellent communication, counseling, presentation, and client management skills.
- Ability to accurately assess student profiles and recommend suitable study options.
- Experience using CRM software to manage student records and application workflows.
- Proficiency in English and Urdu.
- Competency in MS Office applications.
- Target-driven, well-organized, and confident in engaging with students and parents.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple applications simultaneously.
- Experience in education consultancy, study visa services, immigration, or travel-related organizations is an advantage.
