Senior T24 Development Engineer

Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. (MMBL) is seeking a Senior T24 Development Engineer to join its dynamic team. This role involves writing, debugging, reviewing, and optimizing high-quality Java-based and InfoBasic code specifically designed for the Temenos Application Framework Java (TAFJ) environment. The successful candidate will develop, test, and execute automated data migration scripts, OFS batch upload routines, file extractors, and transformation tools essential for core banking data migration workflows. Key Responsibilities

- Build and parameterize T24 local components, including Arrangement Architecture (AA) product routines, custom screens (Versions), Enquiries, Deal Slips, and validation rules based on Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
- Implement and maintain T24 integration hooks such as Open Financial Services (OFS) message processing, IRIS REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware message routines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Close of Business (COB) batch processing cycles in collaboration with operations teams, resolving database deadlocks, locking issues, and code execution bottlenecks.
- Write and optimize Oracle SQL queries to retrieve data, generate technical logs, and resolve data discrepancies during system testing and migration cycles.
- Maintain code repositories using Git, participate in peer code reviews, and support deployment packaging across Development, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environments.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Temenos T24 software development, with direct involvement in writing core migration routines and data loading tools.
- Proficiency in the TAFJ framework, Java development, InfoBasic/jBase, and customization of the T24 Arrangement Architecture module.
- Demonstrated experience in executing core banking data migrations using OFS routines, database extraction scripts, and automated data mapping validation tools.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Database relational concepts, SQL syntax, query optimization, and T24 database layer configurations.
- Practical knowledge of Open Financial Services (OFS), IRIS APIs, Unix/Linux shell scripting, Git version control, and Jira issue tracking.
