Senior Technical Project Manager | Pakistan

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead diverse projects from initial design through to successful implementation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional managerial and client-handling skills, demonstrating innovative leadership to motivate, build, and oversee multiple cross-regional teams simultaneously. This role requires breaking down customer specifications into clear tasks and timelines, ensuring delivery of high-value outcomes while driving continuous improvement in code quality and project execution. You will engage directly with client teams and managers, managing expectations and aligning project goals to meet and exceed client needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Set and manage client expectations proactively, identifying potential issues early and communicating effectively to avoid escalations.
- Oversee and support the analysis, design, and development of mobile and web application projects, including integration efforts.
- Lead and manage teams comprising software developers, quality assurance engineers, and designers to deliver quality results.
- Maintain a strong commitment to code quality, staying informed about the latest technologies and architectural best practices.
- Apply advanced Agile methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor projects efficiently.
- Evaluate technical decisions, build realistic project timelines, and ensure adherence to best technical practices.
- Foster excellent client relationships to support business growth through land and expand strategies.
- Demonstrate perfectionism by ensuring tasks are completed correctly and thoroughly.
- Motivate and manage remote teams effectively using collaboration tools such as Skype, GoToMeeting, Zoom, and Google Docs.
- Provide top-down oversight throughout project lifecycles to ensure scope, budget, and timeline compliance.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that align customer requirements with company objectives, coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress continuously, producing detailed reports on milestones and deliverables.
- Communicate proactively with all team members to encourage collaboration, identify challenges, and implement process improvements.
- Anticipate future project needs by maintaining direct communication with customers and staying updated on industry trends.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 10 to 14 years of management experience in IT, including development and client interaction.
- Over 5 years of hands-on software development experience in any programming language.
- Ability to engage in high-level technical discussions and effectively summarize information for executive audiences.
- Strong understanding of code review processes and managing technical debt.
- Proven track record of delivering at least 2 to 4 full projects as a Technical Project Manager, including scoping, sizing, team formation, and costing.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), or Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Experience in software application development, open source or mobile platforms, integration, or data migration projects.
- Solid analytical skills, particularly in programming and architectural design concepts.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to identify, assess, and report risks related to project assets and suggest appropriate risk treatments.
- Commitment to adhering to Information Security Management System (ISMS) policies, procedures, and controls.
- Prompt reporting of security incidents and maintaining competencies to fulfill ISMS responsibilities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience with AWS cloud services and Test-Driven Development (TDD) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Background in delivering Big Data projects on cloud infrastructure is a plus.
