Senior UX/UI Designer (Mobile App & Growth)

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join an early-stage North American consumer startup focused on creating a hyperlocal social app that transforms everyday dog walks into real-world friendships and meetups. Based in Islamabad, this full-time, on-site role involves owning the user flows, onboarding, and UI/UX design of the mobile app using Figma and AI tools. You will lead the growth and gamification design, including rewards, streaks, and progress features that encourage users to get outside and connect with their community. The position offers a flexible shift aligned with US Pacific afternoon hours and is expected to start around mid-November 2026.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive user journeys and detailed screen flows from product requirements to guide engineers and AI build tools accurately.
- Define the entire user path from app install to first walk, meetup, upgrade, and referral, assigning named events for tracking purposes.
- Design onboarding experiences tailored for both waitlisted and live neighborhoods, clearly demonstrating the app’s value before asking for commitment.
- Create the live map interface covering all states to help users find walks and neighbors seamlessly.
- Own the design of rewards, streaks, progress systems, local groups, and referral loops that motivate users toward real-world interactions.
- Design the paid-tier upgrade experience to feel earned and fair.
- Plan and execute experiments on onboarding, upgrade prompts, referrals, and reminders, measuring success by repeat real-world walks and iterating accordingly.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience designing consumer app flows and onboarding processes that make the first few minutes engaging and intuitive, with clear mapping of screens and states.
- Strong understanding of designing reward systems and loops that encourage healthy, real-world habits and sustained user engagement.
- Proficient use of AI tools integrated thoughtfully into daily design workflows, maintaining high quality by reviewing and refining AI-generated outputs.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, with dependable availability for daily team check-ins and collaboration.
