Senior Video Editor

Biztek Apps is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor to join their team in Lahore. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a creative professional with over five years of video editing experience, preferably within product-based companies, e-commerce, or consumer brands. The successful candidate will have a strong creative vision and the ability to translate products, features, and ideas into visually engaging video content. The position primarily involves working night shifts and requires close collaboration with marketing and creative teams to produce videos that effectively highlight the value of various products.

Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, engaging videos for products, marketing campaigns, social media, and digital platforms.
- Edit a variety of content including product videos, promotional materials, advertisements, and reels.
- Transform raw footage and product concepts into compelling visual stories that resonate with the target audience.
- Work closely with marketing and creative teams to fully understand product messaging and requirements.
- Ensure that the product or message remains the central focus in all video content.
- Apply professional editing techniques such as transitions, effects, motion graphics, sound design, music integration, and color correction.
- Develop innovative video concepts and suggest new ideas to improve content effectiveness.
- Keep up to date with current trends in social media, advertising, and video production.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
- Take full ownership of projects from initial editing stages through to final delivery.

Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional video editing experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with product-based companies, e-commerce, or consumer brands is highly preferred.
- Strong creative and visual storytelling abilities, with a keen understanding of pacing, composition, transitions, sound, and color grading.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalents.
- Experience producing product-focused content, promotional videos, reels, and advertisements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a refined aesthetic sense.
- Ability to grasp product features and effectively communicate their value through video.
- Capacity to work independently while contributing fresh and creative ideas.
- A strong portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant video editing work.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
Candidates with prior experience in product-based companies will be given preference. This role requires working on-site at Walton Road, Lahore, during the night shift.
