Senior Video Editor

BloomBig Studio, based in Lahore, is seeking a Senior Video Editor with a strong focus on social-first content for international YouTube channels and social media platforms. The role involves working on a variety of video formats including talking heads, short-form clips, user-generated content (UGC), and real estate videos. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement to create compelling videos that keep viewers watching.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit high-quality video content tailored for YouTube and various social media platforms.
- Utilize modern editing techniques such as jump cuts, zooms, transitions, and cutaways to enhance storytelling.
- Perform color correction, audio optimization, and sound design to ensure professional-grade output.
- Source and integrate appropriate B-roll footage to complement the main content.
- Select music thoughtfully, with a clear understanding of licensing requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Content Manager and creative team to align on project goals.
- Manage video files efficiently and deliver polished edits within deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of relevant video editing experience with a proven ability in storytelling.
- Proficient communication skills with near-native English fluency.
- Strong knowledge of YouTube and social media best practices, including trends and internet culture.
- Good eye for timing, pacing, and visual aesthetics to enhance viewer engagement.
- Highly organized, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work consistently.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; however, demonstrated skills and portfolio are prioritized over formal education.

Preferred Qualifications and Tools:
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential.
- Experience with After Effects and Photoshop is a plus.
- Familiarity with Final Cut Pro X is considered an advantage.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Lahore. The monthly salary range is Rs60,000 to Rs100,000, reflecting experience and skill level.
