TypeSpace Studios is seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Senior Video Editor with expertise in motion graphics, professional color grading, and visual storytelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong aesthetic sense, cinematic composition skills, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality visual content. This role involves producing a wide range of content, from social media ads to cinematic brand films and digital campaigns, aimed at strengthening brand identities and driving audience engagement. Additionally, the position requires on-site video production, including shooting at client locations for brand content, products, events, and social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Storytelling
- Lead end-to-end video editing for social media, digital ads, brand films, corporate videos, and campaigns.
- Produce engaging short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Develop compelling visual narratives using creative transitions, pacing, composition, and storytelling techniques.
- Edit both short- and long-form content while ensuring brand consistency.

Color Grading & Post-Production
- Apply advanced professional color correction and cinematic color grading.
- Create distinctive visual looks and maintain color consistency across various cameras and lighting conditions.
- Work with LOG footage, LUTs, exposure correction, skin tones, and color-matching techniques.
- Ensure high-quality finishing including stabilization, noise reduction, and final output optimization.

Motion Graphics & Visual Effects
- Design engaging motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated titles, transitions, and branded visual elements.
- Integrate visual effects, compositing, masking, tracking, and animation into projects.
- Develop motion content aligned with brand identities and campaign goals.

Video Production & Cinematography
- Conduct on-location shoots for brands, products, events, and campaigns.
- Demonstrate proficiency in camera operation, framing, lighting, and basic cinematography.
- Handle professional cameras, lenses, gimbals, microphones, and lighting equipment confidently.
- Plan and execute shoots based on creative briefs and production requirements.

Sound Design & Audio
- Integrate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and audio transitions to enhance storytelling.
- Perform audio cleanup, synchronization, mixing, and basic mastering.
- Ensure professional audio quality across all deliverables.

Creative Collaboration & Workflow
- Collaborate with creative strategists, designers, and marketing teams to develop campaign concepts.
- Translate creative briefs into polished visual content.
- Stay updated on emerging video trends, editing techniques, AI-powered tools, and social media formats.
- Manage multiple projects, revisions, file organization, and deadlines efficiently.
- Maintain TypeSpace Studios’ creative and production standards.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a creative agency, production house, or digital marketing environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong expertise in DaVinci Resolve for professional color grading and correction.
- Excellent understanding of cinematography, lighting, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Skilled in motion graphics, typography animation, compositing, and visual effects.
- Experience working with LOG footage, LUTs, and professional post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in sound design, audio editing, and synchronization.
- Practical experience in video shooting and handling professional camera equipment.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video production and editing tools is a plus.
- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent English communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing, motion graphics, color grading, and brand content is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
