Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer

Kinetic Kube is looking for a Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to create polished and engaging videos from raw footage, scripts, and creative ideas for a variety of brands. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Adobe video production tools and a sharp sense of storytelling, typography, motion graphics, sound design, and pacing. This role demands creative ownership of edits, the ability to propose compelling hooks, and thoughtful decisions that define the look, sound, and feel of each video. Familiarity with AI tools such as Higgsfield and other image or video generation platforms is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit diverse video content including social media reels, digital ads, product videos, interviews, testimonials, brand stories, and longer formats.
- Develop captivating opening hooks and maintain viewer engagement through clear storytelling, purposeful pacing, and strong visual choices.
- Transform briefs, scripts, raw footage, and product images into finished videos with clear messaging.
- Design motion graphics, animated typography, product callouts, transitions, and other visual elements to support the narrative.
- Select fonts carefully to ensure hierarchy, readability, spacing, animation, and brand consistency.
- Perform colour correction, grading, audio cleanup, sound design, music selection, and final mixing.
- Produce accurate subtitles and captions, including English and Urdu/Roman Urdu when needed.
- Adapt videos for various platforms and aspect ratios, preserving effective text placement, framing, and key visuals.
- Create alternative hooks, shorter cuts, and creative variations for advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and content teams, contributing ideas and incorporating feedback effectively.
- Maintain well-organized project files, footage, audio, assets, and versions to support updates or handovers.
- Manage multiple client projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
- Explore and apply relevant AI tools to enhance creativity and streamline production workflows.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of professional video editing experience supported by a strong portfolio; exceptional portfolios with comparable experience will also be considered.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Practical knowledge of Adobe Audition and Media Encoder, including audio finishing and reliable exports.
- Working familiarity with Photoshop and Illustrator for asset preparation and adaptation.
- Strong skills in motion graphics, keyframing, masking, tracking, compositing, and typography animation.
- Good judgment in font selection, composition, colour, transitions, music, and sound effects.
- Understanding of how editing choices impact attention, clarity, brand identity, and audience response.
- Ability to create original edits and tailor approaches to different brands and briefs.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership of final quality, and clear communication regarding deadlines or production challenges.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Experience
- Experience working in a creative or digital marketing agency environment.
- Background in editing product campaigns, consumer brands, interviews, and performance marketing creatives.
- Practical experience with AI tools like Higgsfield or other image and video generation platforms, including integrating AI-generated assets into final edits.
- Ability to maintain product accuracy and visual consistency when working with AI-generated materials.
- Experience refining creative variations based on client feedback and campaign performance insights.

Compensation and Work Location
- Monthly salary range: PKR 100,000 to PKR 180,000.
- This is an in-person position.
